2009 Convention Dickenson County was proud to have a total of 14 Delegates to attend the 2009 Convention in Richmond Virginia. This Convention had one of the largest number of Delegates and Visitors in over 15 years. We were delighted to be a part of the Convention Process that produced the following ticket: Bob McDonnell Governor Bill Bolling Lt. Governor Ken Cuccinelli Atty. General The three candidates started their Campaign in the Southwest Virginia area on Monday. They arrived at the Virginia Highlands Airport, Abingdon, Virginia at 9:45 a.m. to a gathering excited to promote this ticket to victory in November. This is the year of the JUST SAY YES! Team Yes--Lower taxes Yes--Improved Education Yes--Support Clean Coal and Alternate Energy Souces in VA Yes--Develop Tourism Yes--Improve Employment by NOT Over Regulating Small Business JUST SAY YES!
